New Vision Environmental Science is a one-year program offered to highly motivated high school seniors. Located at Lime Hollow Nature Center, students will explore environmental issues in a real-world setting on nearly 430 acres consisting of forests, fields, streams, bogs, ponds, flora and fauna with access to numerous trails. As the classroom moves from outdoors to inside, students will learn in a state-of-the-art environmental education center as they conduct research and study environmental topics in depth.

Topics include forestry, fish, wildlife, maple production, environmental issues, soil, water, land use and outdoor recreation. Students interact with professionals in the field and use time in the classroom to analyze current trends in careers.
